Celebrating Sekuru Cosmas Magaya's 70th Birthday & Traditional Zimbabwean Music & Culture!
Join us for our first Zim Cultural Rhythms, a global celebration of traditional Zimbabwean music & culture, with groups of people, large & small, celebrating throughout the world, on one day, through all time zones.
When: Sat Oct 7, 2023 - anytime of the day in your timezone, where ever you are in the world.
What: Gather together, play music, sing, dance.
Why: Help raise awareness, support, & fundraise for Humwe by celebrating Cosmas Magaya’s 70th Birthday and the music & culture he dedicated his life to.
How: Gatherings can be large or small, public or private. The goal is to play together, celebrate, share the music & performances, and if possible raise some money to support Humwe. You could organize a concert with an audience, you could get together for a dance party, you could busk - it’s up to you!
